I’ve worked on a large variety of projects in the 3D-solid modeling & technical drafting space using various computer-aided design software packages, including Autodesk AutoCAD, Inventor, and Fusion 360; alongside Onshape and Solidworks.
I am a Certified Onshape Associate, and have previously worked as a CAD Technician for a furniture company.
A few of my favorite projects are included on this page. Specifically, they are:
- One page of a drawing (sheet, title block, and other information omitted) of a compressed air blowgun assembly created for the SkillsUSA National Technical Drafting Competition, where I took first place competing against over 40 other state champions. I created both the 3D model and the associated technical drawings for the complete assembly in a 8 hour time window. Included are section views, auxiliary views, geometric dimension and tolerance (GD&T) specifications, and full chain dimensions. The full set of drawings is available here.
- A screenshot from a simulation of a Fusion 360 CAM toolpath, which was later cut using a ProtoTRAK 3-axis CNC mill. A full video and pictures of the end result can be found here.
- A render of radial engine assembly, which is constrained such that it is completely working and animated inside of the CAD software. A video is available here.
A full portfolio of my CAD work can be found within my separate CAD website, available here: cad.ke8oho.com.
