Hi! I’m Carter, a student at Olin College of Engineering interested in electrical & transportation engineering.
I’m passionate about using engineering as a process to solve challenges and develop solutions for technology, large-scale projects, and the people who make those projects possible. More specifically, I’m interested in applying innovative infrastructure & transportation solutions to make our future a more accessible, connected, and sustainable place.
As a student at Olin College of Engineering, my education is uniquely focused on both technical foundations and effective collaboration and leadership. Olin has taught me not only how to be an engineer, but how to rapidly adapt to new environments, independently learn new skills, collaborate and maintain good team health on teams of all sizes, and how to convey technical concepts to audiences of all backgrounds.
I have previously sought diverse work experiences to my compliment my unique educational background. This combination allows me to quickly adapt and contribute to engineering projects with broad scopes from both a technical perspective and administrative & management perspective. Because of this experience, I will excel in performance and communication in this role on day one.
My experience involves project management across different sectors and industries; technical skills in IT, mechanical, and electrical design; and in presenting on engineering topics and processes to audiences and throughout the community. The diverse work experience I have sought has prepared me to quickly adapt and contribute to projects from both a technical perspective and an administrative & management perspective.
While still ensuring I’m acting best as a resource for the people I’m working with and people I’m designing for, I pride myself on thriving under pressure across a wide range of environments and disciplines.
